Night Redux (Minor Changes to adjust to the new Chrome interface)

In spite of Google proclaiming that Chrome was no run-of-the-mill "grey browser," darkness is here to stay.

The dark beckons the human soul as the light draws the moth to the flame.

If you are the moth, then hasten away to my 'Lumina' themes. If you are human, then stay right here and embrace the 'Night'.

What we have here is a light-footed dark theme with alluring special-effects. It puts Chrome's hidden beauty in sharp relief.

This is AMAZING! The glow on the functions, the not to overdone gloss and ofcourse not to bright, which almost every theme you find on this site is. :9

Thank you for the generous comment. I haven't done any graphics in a long while, and can hardly believe that I did this. I haven't used this theme in a while myself. Let me know what you think about my other theme (Lumina) as mentioned in the author's description.

I've been using the older iteration of this theme, the one with the dark black bar at the top and wondered if you still had the old crx file for that version?

If you mean the rounded "toolbar" (the bar with wrench on it), then sadly, no.

Many parts cannot be themed in the current avatar of Chrome. Having a dark bar forces one to have a light-colored bookmark text. The bookmarks then become unreadable upon mouse-over. Some other problems creep in.

Thanks for your input. The themers are doing the best they can given the limitations.

Ah I see. Its never a problem for me as I replace the names of bookmark icons with spaces, that way you can have more readily accessible bookmarks, it looks neater and by changing the number of spaces allocated to each icon you edit the separation. (^_^)

That is a great idea. You should probably write a tutorial on that. I remember reading about it and thought it was a cumbersome process. All my icons are generic folders or files (white pages).

With regard to your earlier inquiry, it is not hard for me to reconstruct the rounded black bar. So, if you prefer the earlier iteration, I can redo it.

I don't think it really needs a tutorial, just people to spread the word it is literally as simple as editing the bookmark names with spaces. Still trying to work out how to get rid of the 'Other Bookmark' folder as well, then I'll be pretty much there!

If you could do that for me that would be incredible (^_^)
